The figure most pages quote, the reason it differs, and what the official source says. We link the pages where we saw each figure; they are not sources for ours.

Spain: Digital nomad visa

EUR 2,849 a month on migratiolex.com, remoteworkeurope.eu, myspainvisa.com. These pages spread the minimum wage of EUR 1,221, paid 14 times a year, over 12 months (EUR 1,424.50) and double that.

Italy: Digital nomad visa

EUR 28,000 a year on remoteworkeurope.eu. The page gives about EUR 28,000 (around EUR 2,333 a month) as three times the healthcare-exemption level.
Official: The rule is three times the income level that exempts from health-service cost sharing. The Italian Embassy in Washington's 2026 checklist states EUR 24,789, the 2024 value, and publishes no later figure. Indonesia: Remote worker visa

Renewable once, 2 years at most on countrytaxcalc.com. The page says the permit is renewable once for a further year, a 2-year maximum.
Official: The Directorate General of Immigration lets the stay permit be extended online; extensions run up to the length of the first permit, and total limited stay may not exceed 6 years. Where the official source gives no household figure

Portugal, D8 nomad visa: The official sources we cite for the D8 set EUR 3,680 a month for the applicant and give no separate amount for a spouse or child. Family members can apply for family reunification; for minor or dependent children there is no wait.
Thailand, LTR · Work-from-Thailand: The income test of USD 80,000 a year is for the LTR holder; the official criteria add no income amount for dependants. A legitimate spouse and children under 20, up to 4 dependants, can join. Each dependant needs health insurance of USD 50,000, social-security cover or an extra USD 25,000 deposit held for 12 months.
Italy, Digital nomad visa: The Washington checklist states EUR 24,789 a year for the applicant and gives no household figure. A spouse and children under 18 can be sponsored through family reunification under Art. 29 of Legislative Decree 286/1998.
Japan, Digital nomad visa: The income test is JPY 10,000,000 a year for the applicant. The official page gives no separate income amount for a spouse or child; each needs private medical insurance with at least JPY 10,000,000 treatment cover.
Indonesia, Remote worker visa: The official E33G page sets USD 60,000 a year and USD 2,000 in living funds for the applicant and gives no household figure. A spouse can apply for the E31B family visa and a child for the E31E family visa.
United Arab Emirates, Virtual Work Visa: The income test is USD 3,500 a month for the applicant, and the official page gives no household figure. Expatriate residents can sponsor a spouse, unmarried daughters, sons under 25 and children with special needs.
