Fine print

Government Notice 5448 of 18 October 2024 makes an offer of employment mandatory, and the Home Affairs visa page says every application must carry one. An older Home Affairs checklist page still describes an application with no employer, backed by ZAR 3,000 (≈ $180) in bank statements; that wording predates the notice and is not followed here.
