Workcation (F-1-D) visa runs as a formal programme from 30 June 2026. The income test is 1 to 2 times GNI per person by age and region of stay (before: 2 times for everyone), and the maximum stay is 3 years (before: 2 years).
Qatar: Council of Ministers Decision No
Council of Ministers Decision No. 21 of 2026 (Official Gazette No. 9, 7 June 2026) replaced Table 1 of the areas where non-Qataris may own real estate and its map, moved the responsible minister from the Minister of Justice to the Minister of Municipality and reworded the registration article; the QAR 730,000 (≈ $201,000) and QAR 3,650,000 (≈ $1,000,000) property values and the 90-day annual residence rule in article 7 are unchanged.
