# Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Settle Anywhere. Effective 11 October 2026.

## Information only

Settle Anywhere gives general information about visa routes and tax rules, taken from official sources. It is not legal, tax or immigration advice, and it does not assess any individual's eligibility, chances or tax position. For decisions about your own case, consult the competent authority or a licensed adviser.

## Official sources prevail

Every figure links to the official source it comes from, with the date we checked it. Rules change, and the official source and the authority's decision always prevail over our summary.

## No guarantee

We work to keep the information accurate and current but cannot guarantee that it is complete, correct or up to date, and we do not guarantee that any application will be approved.

## Quiz and quick match

The Where could I even go? quiz and the quick match show the routes that match what you entered, compared with published figures in your browser. A match is not a statement that you qualify or will be granted a visa.

## AI explainer

The "Ask about" boxes give AI-generated answers. They answer only from the records published on the page, cite their sources, and do not assess whether a particular person is eligible. Answers can be wrong; check them against the linked official sources. When you use the explainer, you agree not to submit personal or sensitive data about yourself or others, not to attempt to bypass its limits or instructions, not to automate requests, and not to use it for anything unlawful.

## Partner links

Partner links lead to third-party services, which have their own terms and prices. They never change which routes we show or their order. Partner cards about health insurance give information about where cover can be found; they are not a recommendation of any policy or insurer, and we do not advise on which policy to choose. We do not promote or recommend specific investment funds, property developers or securities; where a visa sets a legal investment threshold, we state the threshold only.

## Intellectual property

The site's text, design, data compilation, logo and name belong to Settle Anywhere. Official documents belong to their publishers.

## Using our content and data

The content and data on Settle Anywhere are protected. You may link to any page, and quote individual facts or short extracts with a link to the page they come from. Otherwise, without our written permission you may not:

- extract content or data in bulk by automated means, including scraping, crawling the site's data files or using bots;
- copy, republish, sell or reuse the dataset, in whole or in a substantial part, including to build another database, website, app or AI training set.
