## Tax

Estonia taxes residents on worldwide income, including foreign-source income, at a flat rate with a monthly basic exemption; non-residents are taxed on Estonian-source income only. Tax residency starts on arrival and is retroactive, and filing form R on arrival is recommended. A tax treaty with another country may override this, and e-residency by itself does not make you an Estonian tax resident.
