# About Settle Anywhere

Settle Anywhere helps people moving abroad see which visa and residence routes a country offers, what they require, and which tax rules are worth knowing.

## Where the information comes from

Every route and tax note links to the official sources it is based on: immigration authorities, tax authorities and published legislation. Each record shows the date its sources were last checked. We don't use agencies, forums or paid listings as sources.

## How to read it

- Money requirements are shown as published, in the original currency. Income, savings, investment and fees are separate tests and can't replace each other.
- Visa validity and the length you may stay are different things, and we show them separately.
- When a source leaves something out, we leave it out too rather than guess.
- Tax rules are separate from visas. A visa doesn't make you tax resident, and a headline tax rate applies only to people and income that meet its conditions.

## The quiz and AI explanations

The optional AI explainer summarises the published facts on a page and cites their sources; it is not allowed to add requirements or decide eligibility.
